IIFA Bollywood Actress Vidya Balan Event
Vidya Balan, one of Bollywood's top starlets, was in Tampa on Friday as part of a four-city IIFA promotional tour of America that also included New York, Houston and Orlando. Each city has a large Indian population.

"In a new training video from Visit Tampa Bay, Niti Shah, founder of Bay area dance school Kismet Bollywood Dance, provides a 25-minute overview of how to interact with visitors in town for the International Indian Film Academy. The video is part of a set of training materials Visit Tampa Bay compiled for service providers through its Guest Experience Training program."

"Wednesday's gathering came complete with Indian breakfast food and young dancers entertaining Bollywood style, courtesy of Tampa's Kismet Bollywood dance performance academy. Its leader, Niti Shah, is helping to raise Tampa Bay's cultural awareness of Indian customs. Her simple and best advice is to politely say "namaste" (na-mas-tey) as a greeting of respect to visitors from India."
